Coming soon a report and photos of the 2010 French visit.
with visits taking place in alternate years.
Aims
To provide and maintain friendship between the peoples of our twin towns.
Origins
It all started in 1974, the founding father being Peter Wakefield of Calverton. To a lot of us, our first taste of twinning was with our children exchanging and the friendships and joys this brought took us into the adult organization.
Independence
The Association is completely independent of any local government or political control. It receives no funding from Borough or Parish Councils but sometimes receives grants from the European Union to cover traveling costs. All activities are organised and supported by the members and funds are raised to entertain our French guests during their visits.
